Those who are sinners trying to feel righteous have a technique to pull that off.
Comparative obedience. The Pharisee practiced obedience by comparison. That’s the power behind gossip. We compare ourselves favorably with others. We make ourselves judges in order to escape judgment. We forsake others for our own reputations.
How true. How true. We judge base on what we know. We deal base on how we feel. But we don't always see the full picture of things.
Therefore the need to be tactful in our bearings. Being tactful is not being pretentious. Being tactful means showing more consideration for others. Being tactful means to know the right way to make our stand.
People might think otherwise, but doesnt God knows who we are inside out. For me, that is enough.
Two Days Ago...
Happy birthday to me. I am officially 19 now! Cant act like an 18 year old guy anymore man.
It wasnt the most memorable birthday. And I know what's missing.
Went to n.y.d.c for lunch with some cg members. Food isnt great. CK will testify to that. He ate less than half his plate of pasta! But Weiliang saved the day with his 20% off vouchers. Well, they are famous for their mudpies I guess. So no qualms man.
After that, went to tao's cuisine restaurant for a family dinner. Pricey but good food served. Must try!
Anyway, thanks for all the wishes from everyone. Really appreciate them.

Emerge 2007 sparked forth with so much energy, inflamed with the power of God. Thousands of youths, and even adults were jumping, screaming and praising the Lord. No wonder it is the biggest youth conference in Asia!
But hype is one thing that certainly wouldn't last long, the juice that what most of us are after is God's touch. The juice that quenches our soul and refills us with visions. Or we can put it in just one word : Revival.
As I look around, I see many people that carries the tag, "I can do all things through Christ".
Some act upon their belief. For some, they only believe.
Some carry meekness. For some, pride.
Some rises up to challenges. For some, they back away with excuses.
Oh God, before everything else, revive my spirit. I believe in Your promise, not the devil's lies.

I can go on and on ranting about school. But never mind. Let me take on something positive instead. The Red Devils! Yes, Man Utd got a desperate win against AC Milan. 3-2. What a football feast! Fingers crossed, they can continue their march towards Athens.

Back! I had a "good" short break over the weekend in M'sia.
Btw, I found out that the NP guys did not made it to the soccer finals of emerge. What a full-blown disappointment...

How well said. Some things are just unethical. You can go all out to gain financial success, but money can't buy you peace. The biggest lie is to cover the truth from yourself. Thank God I emerged unscathed, in time.
But i guess it is a worthy lesson. Man are so easily influenced by things of this world. A perfect and glamorous shell with a sorry soul. Sadly, this is what the devil grants.
I feel so weary. Not physically though. So tired of being in a highly comfortable zone; (as Gary termed "home").
What is wrong? Why everything seems to be stagnanting (or in fact backsliding)? How can I pull it through? When will it be over? Looking around, many things are happening. But ultimately where do i stand?
I can keep going on like this because it is comfortable, but this isnt where I am suppose to be. No, it cant be. I know it isnt wise to act on our feelings. But doing the right things, easier said than done. All i know is that the desire is long gone. Then again I have to search for it, by hook or crook. If you know what I am looking for, pray for me. =)

I have not visited my own blog for... almost a month? Well, the ongoing stuffs apparently doesnt worth mentioning. But I know I was falling deeply into a slump. Just like a contradiction hanging on discouragement. I didnt press on, I simply yielded away. I saw the help button, but i didnt care to lift the lid covering it. Still...God has his way.
Had a chat with a friend yesterday, alot of things ran through my mind. A realisation that I have been an error myself. A realisation that I have missed someone so important to me. It triggered the desire and renewed my mind.
God seeks a willing heart and uses a willing soul. Even if you have done the least that you can, God always does the most that He can. This is just how awesome our God is.

!Help I am so disorganized, disconcerted, disconnected. So much so that instead of doing something about it, I am actually here talking about it.
Well at any point of time, one can either bring about hell on earth or a foretaste of heaven on earth. To stand up and be the man or to back down as a dud. To care or to heck. Most of us apparently know what is the right thing to do. But then.......im off to play tower defence. (see, i am out of sync)
woohooo...great field soccer match today against the security team. Pleasant weather, good pitch. And we did give them a good match although we lost 3-2 eventually. Surpisingly, my short fuse is absent for the day. Temper checked, praise the Lord!
hhmmm...how i missed field soccer! Street soccer is shiok, but still a far cry from it. I haven't played it for months, so long that my boots might thought that I have retired. The adrenaline rush, the sliding tackles, the long balls, the rough physical play. Man, i cant wait for more action!

-Ppl who glue the power plug so tt others cant plug in their adaptors.
-Ppl who press all the floor buttons on the lift as they come out of it.
-Ppl who bang the door behind them wherever they go.
-Ppl who play some indecent videos in campus, trying to be affable and resourceful.
-Ppl who steal laptop adaptor for themselves.
-Ppl who overspray some stinking deodorant in class, thinking it smells so great.
-Ppl who dress in a blazer every single day, acting as though he is a campus superstar. Cool huh? Live in reality pls!

Btw, Becks has signed for LA Galaxy. IMHO, it is a wise move! I dont think he has anything to prove in Europe already. Play for his country again? He stepped down as captain, so be it, it ends there. Still, Beckham as a Red Devil will stay forever in my memories.
